Endodontic treatment – St. Apolonia Dental Clinic

Root canal treatment

When decay reaches deep layers and involves the pulp, people often feel severe, throbbing pain. To save the tooth and avoid extraction, root canal treatment is needed. The dentist removes infected tissue from the root canals and seals them tightly.

Our clinicians also manage complex cases: severely curved or calcified canals, removal of separated instruments from previous treatment, and more. Modern equipment makes a decisive difference.

What makes our treatment different?

  • Microscope dentistry
With a Zeiss surgical microscope we see the inside of the tooth in high magnification, locate minute canal branches, and reduce the risk of perforation.
  • Retreatment
We use up-to-date methods to revise poorly filled canals, diagnose vertical root fractures, and assess internal resorption.
  • Warm gutta-percha obturation
After cleaning, canals are filled with heated gutta-percha that adapts closely to canal walls and helps prevent bacterial re-entry.
