High-quality panoramic radiographs

Accurate diagnosis and safe treatment planning often need more than a visual exam. We use a modern digital panoramic unit, Veraviewepocs 2D by J. Morita (Japan), recognised among the most precise systems available.

The unit can reduce radiation exposure by up to about seventy percent. The tube rotates smoothly around the patient and the exposure lasts only slightly longer than seven seconds. The image appears immediately on screen.

When is this scan needed?

• Wisdom teeth
  Shows root position and relation to nerves before extraction or surgery.
• Implant planning
  Helps assess bone height and density before implant placement.

  Overview of all teeth and roots and detection of hidden pathology.

  Baseline imaging for braces or removable appliances.

The examination is painless; for our youngest patients we can use an extra-low child-friendly protocol.
